TERMS OF SERVICE

1. YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH SYMPLANO

These Terms govern your use of the Symplano app and website. By creating an account or using Symplano, you agree to these Terms.

2. ELIGIBILITY & ACCOUNTS

• • You must be 18+ to create an account.
• • Keep your credentials secure and your details accurate.
• • You're responsible for activity under your account.
• • Family groups are for real family members and authorised caregivers only.

3. ACCEPTABLE USE

Use Symplano for family scheduling. Do not use it for unlawful purposes, harassment, or to upload content you don't have rights to share.

4. FEATURES, AI & DATA USE

• • Core features (including AI‑assisted parsing and account‑only learning for your own account) operate under our Privacy Notice using contractual necessity and legitimate interests.
• • Account‑only learning improves results for your account; you can turn this off in Settings ▸ Privacy.
• • Improve Symplano for everyone is optional and OFF by default; enabling it gives consent to use de‑identified patterns to improve the service for all users. You can withdraw consent anytime.
• • You remain responsible for verifying important events and details; AI may make mistakes.

5. SUBSCRIPTIONS & BILLING

• • Plans: monthly or annual; pricing shown in‑app or on our website.
• • Free trials may be offered. After a trial, billing begins unless cancelled.
• • Cancel anytime; benefits continue through the current paid period.
• • We may change pricing with prior notice as required by law.

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

We own the app, website, and related IP. You own your data and content. You grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to operate the service per these Terms and the Privacy Notice.

7. THIRD‑PARTY SERVICES

Some features rely on third‑party providers (e.g., auth, subscriptions, AI inference). Their services are governed by their own terms as processors or independent services; we remain responsible for our processors.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid to Symplano in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. TERMINATION

You may delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate for breach, abuse, or prolonged inactivity. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends, and we will delete your personal data according to the Privacy Notice.

10. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via in‑app notice or email.

11. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
